The movie narrative revolves around the biological tinkering with genetically recreated dinosaur species. The story unfolds as a series of strange and unexplainable animal attacks started occurring on the islands of Costa Rica and Isla Nublar.

One of the first species identified as the plot unravels is a three toed lizard like creature who was the primary suspect in the series of animal attacks. These uncommon animals are depicted through a series of Jurassic park toys which have been released with the actual film. InGen's billionaire owner invited a team of paleontologists to the island housing this magnificent creatures; the tem consisted of a veteran paleontologist and an intern he is working with.

InGen or International Genetic Technologies is an establishment where dinosaur species are experimented upon; their workings deal with biological cloning processes. The owner of InGen apparently has developed what he calls a biological preservation island where the paleontologists were surprised as they saw the creatures that were being preserved in the location. From extinction they were able to see dinosaurs which they only dreamt about; Jurassic park toys aim to give a similar opportunity to children or anyone who buys them offering the chance for imagination to flourish.

Dinosaurs cloned were created from recovered mosquito DNA that was found naturally preserved in amber; the process was actually witnessed by the group as they entered the island; the mosquito DNA contained dinosaur blood. Gaps in the damaged mosquito DNA were completed by filling them up with avian, amphibian, and reptilian DNA. Population control in the film's story was done by sticking to breeding female dinosaurs only and the same concept was reflected in the earlier designs for Jurassic park toys where the majority of the toys reflected female dinosaur images.

Jurassic park toys were later developed to reflect the male counterparts to the initial females as you will see why when you see the movie. In the movie, conflict started when the breeding process went beyond the intended plan of the geneticists causing the project to go against what have been initially agreed upon by the people involved. For the well being of everyone on the island, the facility needed to be closed down as they were already running beyond their means.

Some Jurassic park toys may include dinosaur eggs or unborn dinosaurs as in the film where a batch of these eggs and babies were shown to be in the possession of the establishment. In the movie, an employee stole some eggs and planned on selling them; he was later blocked by a dinosaur. Shutting down the main establishment also led to the security system of Jurassic park to be turned off as well.

By shutting down the main security system, the park had absolutely zero control when the dinosaurs had the opportunity to roam free. A gigantic Tyrannosaurus Rex was the highlight of the first film and Jurassic park toys developed a line for this main character. He was able to cause much destruction, injuring a number of the facility's staff and leaving most dead.

The first Jurassic park movie ended happily of course as the island was controlled; the same went for the dinosaurs living there; but as with any film, new plots and thrills came about in the following films. As each new sequel premiered, more characters emerged hence more Jurassic park toys were made to reflect these characters. Anyone can find something for them when they go and search among numerous merchandise items from the movie and each purchase will surely be worth the effort.
